Closed on Mondays all other days except between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m.
Usually, from 2 till 4 they shut down the buffet to switch from lunch to dinner.
Probably.
Yes they do
Nice variety at the buffet. Usually little or no wait. Casual is the norm here.
Chong's has been in Paducah for years it's all right but it has went downhill I don't know what started the decline but unless somebody wants to save this restaurant they better get busy
Nothing like 20 years ago the fried Wong Tongs are not the same
Great lunch buffet! Great price! Serving staff did a fantastic job and even at the end of lunch buffet food was still fresh. Very economical for a family outing.
This used to be the best Chinese food around 15 years ago... dont know what happened but the menus has taken a downturn... but at least the lomein is still spot on.
The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. The food was delicious!
Great food and friendly service.
Our favorite place to eat on date nite!! Ruby is fantastic!! The waitresses are awesome but the older lady is our favorite
Has a B rating which is not a good rating... can see why.. people stocking the buffet were touching ready to eat food bare handed as well as unkept beards hanging over the buffet they were stocking biggest write up from health department was improperly stored food.... will NOT go back
Food was good hot as hell while eating no reconditioning
Good service the buffet is nice. Their ham fried rice and egg rolls are WONDERFULL!
Came here last month with my niece and older sister, my sister found a hair in her wanton soup. I came here today with my niece and some friends, found a hair in my bourbon chicken. This is TWICE that a hair was found in food in 2 different months. That B rating sure does say alot. Will not eat here again.
We enjoyed Chongs but they have went up on their prices.
Food is excellent. Servers were courteous and professional and very attentive, making sure my beverage was filled and that I had whatever I needed while I dined. The restaurant on Jackson street is handicapped accessible. Could use more handicapped parking.
Great Food and service! Its a asian staple in this area
Omg! Best Chinese food have ever ate! They always go all out for us and make us feel welcome. The food is always amazing! I ate there 30 yrs ago pregnant, got a fortune cookie and it said EXPECT SOMETHING NEW BY THE END OF THE DAY AND MY SON WAS BORN! TRUE STORY I STILL HAVE THE FORTUNE COOKIE. I hope this place never closes. They are such a big part of our community and are dearly loved by all.
Very good food and good service.
If you haven't eaten here lately give it a try, the best time to go is on Friday and Saturday night when crab rangoon is also on the buffet. Buffets are best during busy hours. Keeps the food fresh!!
I love Chong's. I've know the family for decades. GREAT people and really good food
I had an absolutely wonderful server(forgot her name) she was young, caucasian, friendlyProbably a college student. Clean, nice environment. Good food. I tipped her 10$ If you see this, THANKS.I also told her not to let anything crush her spirit.
Never again barely a buffet nasty taste to food place was cold n dingy made me sick...i love chinese but this was the worst ever!!!
Very good food and service
Food was okay, I had to go to the kitchen to request drink refills
Best egg Foo Young around! Service and food are always great!
BEST Chinese buffet, especially the sweet & sour chicken
Everyone likes the Chinese restaurant they grew up with. My wife is from Paducah and this is by far her favorite. I have to say it's one of my favorites and has the best egg rolls I've ever eaten.
The absolute worst Chinese restaurant I've ever ate at.
The egg rolls have a chemical taste to them.
Best Chinese 🥢
Great. All the buffet was fresh and hot, with a good selection. Best Chinese food in town. Better organized and displayed better than most & friendlier.Cleaner than most restaurants.I've gone there for years, it dropped a little some time ago, but they are back.I'll be going there lots now.Very little waiting.
Me and my boyfriend went here for date night all the food was awful except for the chocolate pudding, tore our stomachs up before even being able to pay. WORST RESTAURANT EVER!!!! Will never eat here again!! Gave a 2 star because our waitress was awesome but horrible food.
Good food attentive service friendly atmosphere nothing too fancy would definitely recommend
Not your typical Chinese buffet restaurant like their website says "no frills". Expect little to no choice of foods. Nice building and people. Buffet too small. Prices are low tho.
Moved to a town known worldwide for it's Chinese food, but none compare to Chong's. It's a must visit every time I get back home.
Delicious food...been eating there since I moved back to the area in 2002. Also affordable and all u can eat
Me and my boyfriend went for my birthday , and was impressed with how nice the waitresses were. But once we got the food from the buffet is was absolutely disgusting. I had one tiny TINY bite of everything on my plate and couldnt eat anymore and my boyfriend ate maybe 1/4 of his plate and felt sick. There was something definitely off about it all. The waitress we had was so very sweet and understandable and very apologetic when we complained about the food but (im assuming the owner) was SO very rude about it and said we shouldn't have gotten that much food (uhm im sorry i thought I came to a buffet🤷) and made us still pay $20 for the both of us when i didnt even hardly touch my plate. She didnt even apologize that we were unhappy with HER place of business. We were very unsatisfied and will NEVER ever step foot in that place again. HIGHLY not recommended !!!
Just visited the Chong's on Jackson street in Paducah and i didn't like it at all. The service sucked and the food was terrible. Their wasn't a lot to choose from and what was their did not taste good. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in my life but nothing as bad as this one. And i will never go back to eat there again. And i will not recommend it to anyone else. It was not worth the time or the price.
Good food! Waitress was excellent
Do not go to. Jackson. St. Buffet anymore. Took a lot of items off. And the pressed chicken taste like rubber. The place is not clean. The. Reidland one is clean and good but its brand new. Sorry. Jackson. St.
I have ate at Chongs for years and have always loved it. The egg rolls ha e gotten smaller and sometimes the press chicken doesn’t taste that great but I still love it. I usually get food to take home, big family cheaper that way. Buffet for 7 people compared to dinner for 3. Dinner for 3 pretty much feeds is all
Good food, they have a buffet, the service is fast and they are friendly.
We had an absolutely terrible experience the other day.The food has never been "great" but for the price, I can feed my large family and they can eat what they want. This is the absolute worst the taste and quality the food was. The noodles had so much soy sauce on them that they were the darkest brown you can imagine on pasta. The ham fried rice had a weird overpowering sour aftertaste that made you immediately spit it out. The won ton soup was the best. I will never be returning to this establishment. They have lost my business. I urge the owners to go into their kitchen and watch the chefs store, prep, and cook. Or take a class. They are not that expensive and you will know when things are wrong. Because it is your cooks. No matter how long they have been there doing the same thing. People feel safe and get lazy.
Food was well cooked and tasted great. Wonton soup was really good compared to other restaurants I've been to. The dried rice and egg rolls were well prepared. The selection of dishes available on the buffet could have been better. The lighting inside was very dark. They need higher wattage light bulbs to dine by.
Good buffet food for the price and friendly staff and atmosphere
Love there food they are nice people
This was my first taste of Chinese food ever. Many years ago. And nothing has been able to touch it since. The egg rolls are to die for. Yummy food. But be careful who you get as a waitress though. Some care some don't.
Grown up eating it and it's always the same the best Chinese place to eat at !!
Great food / very clean food bar
Pressed chicken is the best thing ever. You can only find it at chongs. Their egg rolls are my favorite also.
I noticed that the A went to a B rating. Great service, their food has been better.
